Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Precision CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components while adhering to strict specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture precision parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the machining process.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Conduct regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments and tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and familiarity with G-code programming.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and practices, including tolerances and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Machining or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Understanding of machining software and CAD/CAM systems is advantageous.
