Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Precision CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to producing exceptional work.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Proficient in CNC programming and operation, with experience in G-code and M-code.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with quality control measures and inspection tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Trade qualification in CNC machining or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of machining software and CAD/CAM systems is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination.
