Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that accurately reflect project specifications. This role requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design integrity and compliance with relevant standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and in accordance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project progress as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation and records of all drawings and revisions.
- Assist in the development of project specifications and reports.
- Support the team in identifying design issues and proposing solutions.
Required Skills

Requirements and Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Drafting or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a drafting role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits if necessary.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
