Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Consultant - Clinical Governance to provide expert guidance and support in the development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review clinical governance policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to monitor and evaluate clinical performance and safety initiatives.
- Provide training and support to staff on clinical governance principles and practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Facilitate clinical risk management processes and contribute to incident investigations and reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement in clinical quality and safety.

- Proficiency in project management and the ability to lead initiatives from conception through to implementation.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on clinical governance or quality improvement.
- Relevant certifications in clinical governance, risk management, or quality assurance are advantageous.
- Current registration with the relevant Australian health professional board.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
