Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial processes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting or a related role.
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance within an Australian context.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
