Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the finance team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
