Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Group Accountant / Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with Australian accounting standards.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business objectives.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Conduct regular financial audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and provide insights for operational improvement.
- Assist with tax compliance and reporting obligations.
- Mentor and support junior finance staff as required.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance management.
- Proven experience in a group accounting role is advantageous.
- Availability to work part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling.
