Job Summary
The Film and Development Officer is responsible for managing and facilitating the development and production of film projects from concept to completion. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including writers, producers, and industry partners, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of film projects, including script evaluation, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with creative teams to refine project concepts and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Liaise with external partners, including funding bodies, production companies, and talent agencies, to secure necessary resources and support.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of funding applications and reports.
