Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ecologist to join our consulting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and managing ecological projects, providing expert advice, and contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ecological assessments and surveys to evaluate biodiversity, habitats, and ecosystems.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on field data and scientific analysis.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
- Develop and implement management plans for ecological restoration and conservation projects.
- Provide guidance and support in the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in ecology and environmental management.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ecological consulting or related positions.
- Experience with ecological survey techniques and data collection methodologies.
- Proficiency in GIS software and other ecological assessment tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required for fieldwork.
