People & Performance Partner


Job Summary

The People & Performance Partner will play a critical role in driving the people strategy and enhancing employee performance within the organisation. This position will collaborate with management to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting employee engagement and development.

Responsibilities

- Partner with leadership teams to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities.
- Design and implement performance management systems that promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate talent development programs, including training, coaching, and succession planning.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and drive organisational effectiveness.
- Support recruitment efforts by advising on talent acquisition strategies and candidate assessments.
- Lead change management initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.

Required Skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Australian employment law and best practices in HR management.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR generalist or people partner role.
- Experience in performance management and employee development strategies.
- Relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPD, AHRI) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
