Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Wholesale Vehicle Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing vehicles to meet the needs of our business and enhance our inventory offerings. This role requires strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the wholesale vehicle market.
- Source and evaluate potential vehicle purchases to ensure quality and value.
- Negotiate purchase agreements with suppliers and dealers to achieve optimal pricing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess inventory needs and align purchasing strategies.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to inform purchasing decisions.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and market conditions to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all purchasing activities.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle purchasing or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations and purchasing strategies.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Relevant certifications in automotive purchasing are an advantage.
