We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of financial data.


- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage the financial reporting process, including consolidations and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax reporting and audits.
- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.


- Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Australian accounting principles and regulatory requirements.


- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior position.
- Proven track record of managing financial reporting processes and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
