Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial accounting and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely reporting.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Maintain and improve financial accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification is preferred.

- Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and software applications.
