Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Group Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the development of financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
- Manage the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities within the group.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Experience in a group or corporate financial environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
