Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee and enhance our financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the strategic management of financial resources across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial goals with business objectives.
- Oversee cash flow management and financial risk assessment.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Experience in managing a team and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and standards is highly desirable.
