Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Last Mile Logistics to oversee and enhance our last mile delivery operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery services while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will lead a team, implement operational strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of last mile logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve operational goals.
- Collaborate with other departments, including warehousing and customer service, to streamline processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to logistics operations.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to delivery services.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Familiarity with logistics and transportation regulations in Australia.
- Prior experience in managing budgets and financial reporting is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
