Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager


Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and contribute to the successful delivery of projects across the organisation.

Responsibilities

- Support project managers in the planning and execution of projects by coordinating project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Assist in the development of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes.
- Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, providing solutions and recommendations as necessary.
- Organise project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Maintain project management tools and databases to track project status and performance metrics.

Required Skills

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of project documentation and reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in project coordination or management is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel occasionally may be required.
