Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Group Accountant / Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the group, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements for the group in accordance with Australian accounting standards.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee external audits.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Monitor financial performance and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Demonstrated experience in financial consolidations and reporting.
- Familiarity with Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
