Job Summary
The Area Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations within a designated region, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial strategies.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and standards across the area.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
