This position is offered on behalf of one of our trusted clients, a reputable engineering and infrastructure company based in the Goldfields,Esperance region of Western Australia, with operations focused primarily in Kalgoorlie,Boulder and Esperance. The company specializes in delivering end-to-end solutions for civil and structural projects and is currently seeking to expand its team with a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer.

 

About the Role:

 

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering a range of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage projects independently and collaboratively in a regional context.

• Plan, design, and manage civil and structural engineering works.

• Conduct technical analysis, site inspections, and reporting.

• Develop detailed designs, drawings, and specifications.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.

• Ensure compliance with Australian codes and safety regulations.

• Monitor construction activities, budgets, and quality assurance measures.

• Provide mentorship to junior staff and support knowledge-sharing within the team.

• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.

• Strong knowledge of local engineering standards and construction practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to travel and work in regional WA.

• Australian work rights or eligibility for Subclass 482 visa sponsorship.

• Attractive salary: AUD $90,000 – $100,000 + Superannuation

Kalgoorlie is a city in Western Australia. It is located in the Goldfields-Springs region of Western Australia, 595 kilometres (370 mi) east and north-east of Perth, the state capital. Kalgoorlie is located at the end of the Great Eastern Highway. It was established during the 1893 gold rush.

At the 2011 census, Kalgoorlie had a population of 31,107, making it the largest city in the Goldfields-Springs region and the fifth largest city in Western Australia.

The name Kalgoorlie is derived from the Whangaai language (Indigenous Australians) and comes from the word Karlkurla, meaning "place of the silk pear".
