This position is offered on behalf of one of our trusted clients based in regional Victoria. The company is a respected supplier and distributor of natural phosphate fertilisers and a pioneer in second-generation biostimulant technologies designed to support regenerative agriculture. Their mission is to enhance soil health and long-term productivity for Australian growers by delivering biologically active, sustainable crop input solutions.

 

As part of their national growth strategy, they are now seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Sales and Marketing Manager to lead market development, client engagement, and brand expansion efforts across the Australian agricultural sector.

• Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals

• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with distributors, growers, and key stakeholders

• Identify growth opportunities and market gaps in regional and national agribusiness sectors

• Lead marketing campaigns across digital platforms, events, and trade networks

• Represent the company at agricultural conferences, field days, and industry expos

• Monitor and report on sales performance, customer engagement, and market trends

• Oversee product positioning, pricing strategy, and promotional planning

• Supervise a small commercial team and foster a results-driven, customer-centric culture

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development,  preferably within agriculture, crop inputs, fertilisers, or agri-tech sectors

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Development, or a related field

• Proven understanding of fertiliser markets, biological soil enhancers, or regenerative input products

• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a regional setting

• Valid Australian driver’s licence or eligibility to obtain one

This role is primarily open to candidates with full Australian work rights.

However, for exceptional offshore candidates who meet all requirements, the employer may consider sponsorship under the Subclass 482 (SID) or Subclass 494 (SESR), subject to Department of Home Affairs criteria.

 

Following a successful period of employment, and subject to performance and ongoing business needs, a transition to permanent residency may be considered at the employer’s discretion.

Cobram is a town in Victoria, Australia. It is on the Murray River which forms the border between Victoria and New South Wales. Cobram along with the nearby towns of Numurkah and Yarrawonga is part of Shire of Moira and is the administrative centre of the council. Its twin town of Barooga is located on the north side of the Murray River. Surrounding Cobram are a number of orchards, dairy farms and wineries. At the 2021 census, Cobram had a population of 6,148. Barooga's population is currently 1,888.
