Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join this dynamic and fast-growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and development of high-performance camper trailer systems that are not only robust and functional, but also deliver luxury in remote environments.

• Create detailed mechanical designs for camper trailers using advanced CAD tools.

• Innovate and iterate on mechanical systems to enhance durability, weight efficiency, and user experience.

• Collaborate with production, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure smooth prototyping and manufacturing processes.

• Perform engineering calculations and validation, including structural stress and load analyses.

• Conduct field testing and evaluation to ensure product performance aligns with design intent.

• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive, RV, caravan, or manufacturing industries.

• Strong CAD skills and familiarity with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).

• Knowledge of materials suitable for rugged outdoor applications (aluminium, composites, etc.).

• Creative problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail.
