The employer is looking to welcome skilled and compassionate Family Support Workers to strengthen their team and enhance community impact.

• Deliver direct assistance and case management services to families and individuals.

• Support clients in accessing housing, healthcare, education, and social resources.

• Create and implement individualised support plans tailored to family needs.

• Conduct home visits, maintain professional records, and provide progress reports.

• Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organisations.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and promote wellbeing within the community.

 

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Counselling, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to manage caseloads independently and within a team setting.

• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and cultural sensitivity.

 

Desirable Attributes

• Previous experience supporting culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

• Multilingual skills will be highly valued.

• Competitive salary package of AUD $70,000 – $80,000.
