About the Employer

 

We are advertising this role on behalf of one of our reputable client companies based in Brisbane, Queensland. The company provides high-standard personal and community care services, focusing on improving the day-to-day lives of elderly clients and individuals requiring additional support. They are now seeking motivated and empathetic Personal Care Assistants to join their expanding care team.

• Provide high-quality personal care and daily living support to clients.

• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility needs.

• Support meal preparation, feeding, and general nutrition requirements.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to foster wellbeing.

• Monitor health and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or healthcare providers.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow individual care plans.

• Certificate or qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Nursing, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in personal care or support roles.

• Strong communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.

 

Desirable Attributes

• Previous experience in residential care, community care, or home care.

• Ability to speak multiple languages is highly regarded.

• Competitive salary package (AUD $70,000 – $80,000 per annum).
