About the Employer

 

This opportunity is offered on behalf of one of our reputable client companies based in Melbourne, Victoria. The company operates in the hospitality industry, managing successful restaurants that are recognised for their high-quality dishes and excellent service. They are now seeking professional and motivated Chefs and Cooks to strengthen their kitchen team and support business growth.

• Prepare, cook, and present meals at a consistently high standard.

• Contribute to menu design and development in consultation with management.

• Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency.

• Manage kitchen stock levels, ordering, and inventory.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health regulations.

• Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff.

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer satisfaction.

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Chef or Cook.

• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.

• Ability to perform under pressure in a busy hospitality environment.

• Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
