Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and facilitate audits by coordinating with external auditors.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff in their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and tax legislation is advantageous.
