Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance Manager - Reporting for a 12-month contract to oversee financial reporting processes and ensure accurate and timely financial information is delivered. This role is pivotal in enhancing the financial reporting framework and will collaborate closely with various departments to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Lead the financial reporting team, providing guidance and mentoring to enhance performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic business planning.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or similar roles, ideally within a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and reporting within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $75 – $85 + super per hour
