The Student Support Facilitator is responsible for providing academic and emotional support to students, ensuring a positive learning environment. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and external support services to address the diverse needs of students and facilitate their personal and academic growth.

Responsibilities

- Assist students in navigating academic challenges and personal issues through one-on-one and group support sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
- Organise workshops and seminars that promote student well-being and resilience.
- Liaise with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and provide guidance on available resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress assessments.
- Stay informed about current educational practices and support services relevant to student needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in a student support or educational role preferred.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent clearance.
- Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student management software.
