Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager, Technology (IT/OT), Cyber & Data to lead our technology initiatives and drive the integration of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cybersecurity measures and data management strategies to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard our digital assets.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
- Oversee the management of IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect against threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage data governance and analytics to support decision-making processes across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and provide solutions that drive performance.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- In-depth knowledge of IT and OT systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and data management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, data management, or IT governance (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale technology projects and initiatives.
- Knowledge of Australian regulations and industry standards related to IT and cybersecurity is an advantage.
