Job Summary
The Divisional CFO (Sports) will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the sports division, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and objectives. This role will provide strategic financial leadership, manage financial risks, and drive performance improvements in order to support the growth and sustainability of the division.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding strategies to ensure financial stability.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the sports industry.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning and analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial legislation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to travel as required for business needs.
