Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Divisional CFO for our Sports division, responsible for overseeing financial operations, strategic planning, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while supporting the division's growth and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the overall business goals of the Sports division.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other divisions and departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management role, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
- Extensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, etc.) is highly regarded.
