Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Controller to oversee and manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax and audit requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience in a corporate finance environment and familiarity with financial management systems.
- Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements is highly advantageous.
