Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Seismic Marine Crew member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting marine seismic survey operations, ensuring the safe and efficient collection of geophysical data. Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and recovery of seismic equipment from vessels.
- Monitor and maintain seismic equipment during data acquisition operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Participate in training sessions and safety drills as required.
- Document operational activities and assist in data management as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Familiarity with marine operations and seismic equipment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of geophysical data collection techniques is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using marine communication and navigation systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in marine operations or related fields is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in marine safety and first aid are an asset.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at sea for extended periods.
- A valid Australian driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
