Job Summary

The Case Manager to Judicial Registrar or Senior Judicial Registrar plays a critical role in supporting the judiciary by managing case files, coordinating court processes, and ensuring efficient case progression. This position involves liaising with various stakeholders, including legal practitioners and court staff, to facilitate effective communication and administrative functions within the court system.

Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee case files from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures.
- Prepare and review court documents, including briefs, reports, and orders, for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist Judicial Registrars in conducting hearings and managing court proceedings.
- Coordinate communication between parties involved in cases, including legal representatives and clients.
- Maintain detailed records and databases to track case progress and outcomes.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling hearings and managing calendars.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the court.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Understanding of the Australian legal system and court procedures.
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning in legal practices.

$79,125 - $86,425 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation
