Job Summary
The Production Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the production facility, ensuring efficiency and quality in the manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, leading a team of operators, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and operational goals.
- Monitor production processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality control.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production methods and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, costs, and workforce efficiency to senior management.
