Job Summary
The Head of Shared Services will oversee and enhance the performance of the shared services function within the organization. This role involves strategic leadership to ensure operational efficiency, service delivery excellence, and alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement across shared services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the shared services strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage the shared services teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
- Oversee the delivery of key services, including finance, HR, IT, and procurement, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure services are tailored accordingly.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and best practices within shared services operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in shared services or similar roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and complex projects.
- Familiarity with relevant software and technology solutions used in shared services.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting processes.
- Australian work rights and willingness to travel as required.
