Job Summary
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of facilities and equipment through routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections. This role involves coordinating maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to create a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs and renovations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report any safety hazards.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

- First Aid certification is an advantage.
