Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service to patients, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and patient information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing and insurance claims.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and improve workflow.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices is an advantage.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed to meet the demands of the practice.
