Job Summary

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading the information technology strategy and execution for the organization. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and management of IT initiatives that align with the company's business objectives. The CIO will ensure the effective use of technology to enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and support overall organisational growth.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance business processes and customer experience.
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and technology investments.
- Collaborate with other executives to identify technology needs and opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity measures.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Serve as a key advisor on technology trends and their potential impact on the business.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and teams.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
