Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Full Time Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that align with engineering specifications and project requirements. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all drafted work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed drawings and plans for construction and engineering projects using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafted documents.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
- Assist in project coordination and communication between team members and clients.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsperson in the construction or engineering industry.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
