Job Summary
The People and Culture Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring effective human resource practices. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organisation's goals, promoting employee engagement, and driving initiatives that enhance overall workforce performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organisational goals.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and employee engagement through various initiatives and training programs.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Manage performance management systems, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and best practices.
- Prepare and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Comprehensive understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, AHRI) is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives.
