Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee and manage our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior management.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Manage the finance team, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial audits and implement necessary improvements.
- Handle tax planning and compliance matters.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Experience in managing a finance team is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and tax laws is an advantage.
