Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management principles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Familiarity with Australian financial regulations and standards is advantageous.
