Job Summary
The National Manager, Strategic Operations - Claims & Legal Services will lead and oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of claims and legal services across the organization. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving performance improvements and fostering a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline claims and legal service operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current processes and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage relationships with external legal partners and service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the claims and legal services teams, fostering professional development and teamwork.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in claims management, legal services, or a related area, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and managing operational functions.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements in Australia.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
