Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant in Nursing to join our Casual Pool team. This role is vital in providing high-quality support to nursing staff and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. The successful candidate will work on a casual basis, offering flexible hours to meet the needs of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in delivering patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas and equipment.
- Support the implementation of care plans and assist with therapeutic activities.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and workplace health and safety standards.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

- National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
